Varies in accordance with the type of application and project essentials

This warranty is provided by “KALMATRON Corporation” (thereafter referred to as “Supplier”) for the water impermeability performance of KALMATRON® KF-A, given to the “(Name of company” thereafter referred to as “Applicator”). 

The Supplier guarantees the water impermeability of concrete containing KALMATRON® KF-A or K1OO® and applied by Applicator under the following conditions:  

1.For the 12 hour time frame prior to the application of concrete mix, premixed with KALMATRON® KF-A or K1OO® per each cubic yard, the surface of application should be controlled so that water leaks, water seepage, and open voids, dents, and holes which are known to be as a source of water appearance, are not evident. 

2.During the 12 hours frame after application, which is the time needed for setting and hardening time of concrete mix premixed with KALMATRON® KF-A or K1OO® per each cubic yard, any possible water appearance on applied area should not be, and will not to be recognized, or admitted, or claimed as a product defect. 

3.Before application every concrete batch premixed with KALMATRON® KF-A or K1OO® per each cubic yard should be documented in writing by the Applicator to insure Quality Control as follows:  

3.1.concrete mix design being used follows the predetermined mix design as specified for KALMATRON® KF-A or K1OO® application for shotcrete;

3.2.confirm that the amount of KALMATRON® KF-A or K1OO® per each 1 cubic yard of concrete mix was added to the concrete mix, and then mixed for 5 to 7 minutes;

3.3.insure that slump measures between 1 ½ ” to 2 ¾”;

3.4.written that workability of concrete mix was activated by 2 minutes of additional mixing or by added 1/5 Gallon of water per every 1 cubic yard of given batch.  

3.5.list the final water to cement ratio.

4.The effective and minimal thickness of concrete application, premixed with KALMATRON® KF-A or K1OO® per each
  cubic yard should be a minimum of 2 inches thick throughout the entire applied surface as a continuous coat.

5.The Supplier warrants the KALMATRON® KF-A or K1OO® product against defects in material or workmanship as follows:

5.1.For a period of 12 calendar months from the registered date of application Supplier will repair appeared water leaks determined to be the fault of product defect, by using its own products and labor.

5.2.The repair work will only be for the water leaks identified at the time during that 12 months period in accordance with claim 2.  

5.3.In addition, Supplier will supply, at no charge, new replacements for any defective KALMATRON® KF- A or K1OO® product for a period of 12 calendar months from the registered date of application. 

5.4. This warranty does not cover any damage due to accident, natural disasters, environmental impact, misuse, abuse, or negligence. 

6.To obtain warranty service, Applicator must follow KALMATRON® KF-A or K1OO® “Application Instructions”, “The Stucco Industry Regulations”, and “Workmanship Guidelines” to comply with provisions of the following, unless more stringent requirements are indicated:

6.1ACI 301, "Specification for Structural Concrete."

6.2ACI 506.2, "Specification for Shotcrete."

6.3Cold-Weather Shotcreting: Protect shotcrete work from physical damage or reduced strength caused by frost, freezing, or low temperatures according to ACI 306.1.

6.4Hot-Weather Shotcreting: Mix, place, and protect shotcrete according to ACI 305R when hot-weather conditions and high temperatures would seriously impair quality and strength of shotcrete.
